Before even vaping, this juice gives off:

  • Smell: Sweet blue raspberry candy

👉 First impression: Not as strong smell as I expected, but that’s not a bad thing

🌬️ Flavor Breakdown

Here’s how it performs on inhale and exhale:

Inhale

  • Sweet candy
  • High/medium

Exhale

  • Blue raspberry with a touch of tangy sour sweet candy. Like a… jolly rancher

Aftertaste

  • Leaves a dry aftertaste just like having a jolly rancher in your mouth and sour, tangy sweetness

🎯 Flavor Accuracy

Does it taste like what it claims?

  • Accurate: Yes
  • Notes: Sweet, fruity candy just like you’d expect.

👉 Verdict: The taste is pretty spot on, a little tangy and sweet along with the blue raspberry

💨 Vapor Production

(Depends on VG ratio and device)

👉 Performs best on: I preferred this on an RTA with more airflow to help break up the sweetness rather than sub-ohm where the flavors can be a little too sweet and bold for me with juices like this.

👍 What It Gets Right

✔ Accurate flavor profile
✔ Sweet, pleasant flavor without being on the very high end of sweetness
✔ Along with the candy flavors, you also get a touch of bitter and sweet

👎 Where It Falls Short

✖ A little too sweet for my taste buds after long vaping sessions
✖ This is more of a once in a while flavor for me, I’m not a big fan of candy fruit profiles

🧠 Who This Flavor Is For

This juice is a good fit if you:

  • Enjoy fruit candy
  • Don’t mind juices that are on the higher end of sweet
  • Really love blue raspberry jolly ranchers

Skip it if you:

  • Aren’t a fan of candy fruit flavor profiles
  • Don’t enjoy sweet, bitter and sour

🪑 Final Verdict

Duck Boy is one of the most talked about flavors in the Stevie’s Collective Facebook group. I received it in a 5 pack grab bag special that Stevie has from time to time, which was nice because I’ve been curious about this one for a while.

The flavor profile is spot on with what you’d expect after reading it’s a blue raspberry jolly rancher flavor. The fruit candy flavors are front and center, the aftertaste leaves you with the feeling of having a jolly rancher in your mouth. What I wasn’t expecting and surprised me is the sour and tangy subtle notes in this juice. It’s a nice touch. You can’t really have just strong fruit candy flavor, you have to break it up somehow so it doesn’t wear out even vapers with the biggest sweet tooths.

I’m not a huge fan of fruit candy, so while I enjoy this juice I also can’t vape it for long periods without needing a break from it. It just becomes too much for me, and I find myself swapping it out after a few tank fills. If you really enjoy fruit candy flavors this will be right up your alley. It’s flavorful enough to keep it interesting and the flavors are exactly what they are advertised.
